Junior Computer Vision Engineer

Support the development and testing of computer vision and data processing solutions. An ideal role to grow skills in AI, imaging and applied research within EU projects.

You will work under the guidance of senior engineers on real-world applications involving satellite imagery, industrial sensors and environmental monitoring. This position offers a structured growth path in one of Europe's most exciting applied AI companies.

• Develop and test computer vision algorithms under the guidance of senior engineers
• Implement data preprocessing and augmentation pipelines for training datasets
• Run experiments, evaluate model performance and document results
• Assist in the development of detection, classification and segmentation models
• Contribute to code reviews, unit testing and technical documentation
• Support data annotation and dataset curation efforts
• Participate in technical meetings and project reviews

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, AI, Mathematics, Physics or related field
• Good knowledge of Python and at least one deep learning framework (PyTorch or TensorFlow)
• Understanding of fundamental computer vision concepts (CNNs, object detection, image classification)
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative software development
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good English (B2+)

• Experience with OpenCV or scikit-image
• Knowledge of Linux and command-line tools
• Experience with Docker or containerised environments
• Academic projects or thesis work in computer vision or machine learning
• Familiarity with remote sensing data formats (GeoTIFF, NetCDF)
